Educator, Speaker, Blogger, Knitting Obsessed
Hello! I am Dana Williams-Johnson and I am a full time instructor in the Marketing Department in the Howard University School of Business. I’m also a full time graduate student in the Howard University School of Communications working on a PhD in Communications, Culture and Media Studies.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Howard University and a Master of Professional Studies in Publishing from the George Washington University. I’ve spent my career working either in higher education or with associations working in web development and social media marketing.
Outside of academia, I have a blog called Yards of Happiness where I write about knitting and the things that bring me joy. I am married and my husband Kendell and I have a rescue dog named Jellybean who I knit sweaters for all the time. Find me on social media below.
